Puppy Pics

After shooting babies for the last two months, this was a nice change! This is Polly, a new puppy for friend’s of mine. We managed to fit her into a baby session I was shooting on Wednesday. I wish I had something in the photos to show how tiny she is, I have never seen a puppy that small sit and lie down on command, so cute!
Spring has Sprung!

Last week was our area’s Spring Break, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. I hadn’t pulled my lensbaby out of my bag in quite some time so I spent a breezy day outside shooting some of the beautiful flowering trees we have nearby. I noticed Wisteria up the street today, that only blooms once every two years, might have to take a little walk tomorrow! Thanks for taking the time!

Well it’s the day after Thanksgiving, so I’m a day late. I tried to stay off the computer yesterday and spend time with my family.
I just want to take the time to be grateful for a minute…to my kids for tolerating Mom being out of the house so much lately and being on the computer when I am home, to my husband who has been on Daddy-Duty so much this past week, especially since he had the week off and the kids were on their Fall Break, and for my friends and clients who have entrusted me with their families and their memories. Your confidence in me and your word of mouth referrals are priceless..so Thank You. And with that I leave you with this little angel, a product of the “H” family below. Have a great holiday weekend!

Well, due to all the rain we’ve had recently, the foliage here is Georgia is pretty much gone. Friends of mine asked me for a session in late October and it was THE perfect weekend. The colors were gorgeous, the stream was full, family was beautiful. We had a very successful shoto shoot! Happy Fall Y’All!

I haven’t posted in months. No reason for it really, I’ve been busy with the kids over the summer and since school went back into session, working my day job as a substitute. Flu season started early this year so I’ve been busy. Since schools are closed today due to the Atlanta area flooding, and the kids are out playing in the rain (gotta love them) I’m catching up on posting some highlights of some recent photo shoots today. I’m also in the process of putting together a Christmas Card promotion so keep an eye out for that!

These are close family friends of ours, aren’t they all just so photogenic? We did this to surprise dad for Father’s Day but the secret didn’t last every long! Good in a way though, now the photos can go up on my blog!
Camping

It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog! We’ve been so busy winding down the end of the school year, last day is Friday May 22nd! I am long overdue to post photos from our first camping trip. Tom and I used to camp quite often before we had kids and we thought it would be nice to finally introduce them to it. We recently sold our boat and bought a pop-up camper and took it out a couple of weeks ago. We found a beautiful place to camp about 10 miles from our house, right on Lake Lanier, took the kids and the dogs and had a blast. We have another trip planned for next weekend! Here are some highlights.

It’s Spring Break here but you would never know it with the weather we’ve had! We made a quick trip to Myrtle Beach only to have the weather turn cold so we came home early-believe it or not to SNOW! The weather is warming up again so we’re going to try to enjoy the rest of the week!
The kids grandparents had a new puppy to introduce us to….he’s great with the camera! This is Blaze.
